Origin
This common plant can be found throughout the world. Once used to protect against rheumatism, the nettle was also used in Chinese medicine to tone the blood.
Description
Very common, it grows in ditches, rubble and forest clearings and can measure up to 1.2 metres in height. Its leaves are covered in urticating hairs.
All of the parts of the plant are used in phytotherapy, they naturally contain flavonoids.
