Native to Central America, Opuntia, also called Nopal and better known as Prickly Pear, is a cactus recognised and used to help control weight. Combined with a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, Opuntia contributes to the metabolism of fats and sugars and controls calorie intake. It thus makes slimming easier.
